Memories is a PSA made for Project Yellow Light, a charity made to help stop texting and driving. The piece is about how a teenagers have cultural milestones that they want to reach while in high school, and if something were to happen to you while texting and driving, the memories you’d be able to make would never happen.

The piece is harsh, preachy, and plays out like a morality tale from a Grimm’s storybook or an after school special. It shows beautifully choreographed moments of high school: Championship Game, Prom Night, Homecoming, ect. taken away when one texts and drives. The final shots are of a car graveyard, symbolizing the hundreds of accidents teens get into when they text and drive.

We shot of 16mm to give the spot a nostalgic turn allowing people to connect with these characters even for one shot. The final shots were made with a drone.
